What Does a Designer’s Portfolio Look Like Today?

When was the last time you updated your portfolio? No judgment. It’s probably been a minute. 

Portfolios have always been part of the design profession, but what does one even look like today? Is it a website or a PDF? What program should you use? What actually belongs in it? What if you never got professional photos of the finished project? And what about that great project from ten years ago when the rendering definitely looks like it’s from ten years ago? And of course, now we have AI. Can we use it to improve old renderings or project photos? Should we?

In this Design POP webinar, we’re talking about what goes into a portfolio, where to build it, how to share it, and how technology is changing the way we document our work. Having a portfolio doesn’t mean you’re looking for a new job. We think designers should be documenting their work and the careers they’re building.
