AI in the Field
April 2026 Webinar Recap
AI In the Field
Real Use Cases from Dealer Designers
During Monday's webinar we uncovered that only 18% of designers in our audience said they use AI regularly in their workflow. But the bigger story is momentum—51% are already using, testing, or experimenting with it in some way. That leaves 31% who aren’t using AI in design at all (yet).
Where designers see the most potential is telling. 67% pointed to renderings and presentations, while 38% see value in automating repetitive tasks. The takeaway from the session was clear; AI is showing up as a tool to support creativity, not replace it.
With guest presenters, Joanna Jablonski, Brandee Sheldrake, & Kaylie Tucker, sharing how AI fits into their real workflows, the conversation framed AI less as a disruption and more as a tool still taking shape. At the same time, there was healthy skepticism—49% of attendees cited trust and accuracy as their biggest concerns, alongside thoughtful discussion around ethics, environmental impact, and protecting the value of human expertise. As one attendee said, AI can enhance what we do as designers, and perhaps most importantly, help reclaim time for more creative, client-facing work.
Thanks to our guest presenters and everyone who brought such thoughtful questions and insights to the conversation!
