Are we investing in the right things?
In our latest Design POP + Techbox Collective webinar, Alexandra Tseffos & Kari Anderson brought dealers and manufacturers together to talk about the digital tools, files and services that connect manufacturers and designers.
Here’s one of the numbers that caught our attention: 42% of dealers said downloaded drawing files like CET, DWG and Revit files rarely work without cleanup. That opened up a bigger conversation. What does “good” digital content actually look like? And who is responsible for keeping it accurate, current and easy to use?
One comment in the chat summed it up pretty well: “PDFs are great for sales, but we need sif files for design.” Dealers talked about the resources that make their jobs easier and where they can create more work. Manufacturers shared what it takes to keep digital content accurate and up to date. What stood out to us was how often both sides were talking about the same challenges, just from different points of view.
Dealers and manufacturers may be experiencing the same workflow problems from opposite sides. In this webinar, we dig into the survey results, what dealers want from manufacturer digital resources, what manufacturers are navigating behind the scenes, and some of the ideas that came out of the conversation.
